Talented musicians at One sixth form in Ipswich will be playing a concert in Stowmarket this evening to raise funds for an autism charity.
The gig will take place from 7.30pm at the John Peel Centre, where three bands will be performing.
The trio of groups – known as Subwoofer, The Orangutans and Intervention – are made up of students from the sixth form.
Jacob Ottaway, music student at One and co-organiser of the gig, said: “It is going to be a good night. We will have three bands from One all performing eight songs.
“The music will be a mixture of our own material and covers. There will be something for everyone.”
He added: “We wanted to do something for charity and we chose Autism Anglia as their work is inspirational. It will be nice to raise some money for them.”
